Senior Data & Insight Analyst - Cardiff - Hybrid working- 2 days in the office & 3 WFH - £45,000 - £50,000 Plus Excellent Bonus & Benefits
As the Senior Data & InsightAnalyst within this superb Insurance corporate in Cardiff, you will be supporting the Intermediary sales channel by defining andleading the data and insight strategy & data analysis.
With the challenge of supporting the Intermediary sales channel'sgrowth targets, product development, partner experience improvement and propositional change, the Senior Data & Insight Analyst will utilise their excellent collaboration and communication skills, working & engaging with stakeholders across the Sales team, technical Data Analysts and through to the senior leadership team and beyond!
The Role:
* Undertaking the salesanalysis and insight production to ensure that intermediary (Sales, Profit and Service) opportunities are identified to meet business targets and support the sales channel.
* Shape, define and implement a strategy that forms the basis of trading priorities for the sales channel.
* Leading for the Intermediary team on all MI projects to drive continuous business improvements, ensuring they have a high degree of accuracy and benefit realisation can be measured.
* Representing the channel and working with key internal and external stakeholders on strategic insight projects, defining project goals and design, providing support intesting architectures and managing the communications across the channel and wider business areas.
* Ensuring the Intermediary transactional MI data is accurate and fit for purpose. Managing, structuring and embedding production of external market datasources (e.g. Portal data) to ensure the business has an accurate view of the Protection market.
* Using data to establish thecompany's share by Partner and Product, enabling channel plan refinement to target Intermediary sales/product specific opportunities.
* Representing the intermediary sales channel in additional data/insight projects as required to support the wider business/group .
* Delivering subject matter expertise to design, develop and manage ITC/MI initiatives to ensure channel priorities are clearly defined, prioritised and lead to delivery & building effective benefit realisation measures.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
* Good experience as a Data Analyst, Insights Analyst or BI Analyst
* Good communication & collaboration skills are essential
* Experience with Power BI (Preferred), Tableau or similar analytics/visualization software
*Experience with SQL Server (crafting SQL queries to extract data from source using SQL fundamentals).
* Advanced MS Excel skills
* Good data analytics skills with the ability to communicate the insights in ways suitable for the target audience.
* Knowledge of the Power BI Cloud Service is useful but not essential
* Preferably have experience of developing insights and reporting capability within a sales or operational environment.
* A demonstrable eye for detail & excellent organisational skills.
* A good team player.
