Join a leading chemical company located in the industrial hub of Ringaskiddy,Cork. They are dedicated to producing high-quality chemical products while upholding the highest safety and environmental standards. They are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Temporary Forklift Driver to join the team for a short-term assignment of two to three months.
Role and Responsibilities: As a Temporary Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring thesafe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Your responsibilities will include:
* Operating forklifts totransport materials within the facility.
* Loading and unloading trucks and containers using the forklift.
* Ensuring properhandling and storage of chemicals and materials in accordance with safety guidelines.
* Conducting routine equipment checks and maintenance to ensure the forklift's operational efficiency.
* Adhering to company safety protocols and regulations at alltimes.
* Collaborating with warehouse and production teams to support daily operations.
Requirements:
* A valid forklift licence and prior experience operating a forklift is essential.
* Experience with chemical materials and handling is preferred but not mandatory.
* Possession of a valid manual handling certificate is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to safetyprotocols and guidelines.
* Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
* Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Rate of Pay: €14.36 per hour
