My client a global shipping and logistics company founded in the 1800's (yes you read that right over 100 years serving the industry!!) is looking for a branch manager to join their team based in Dublin City Centre.
They seek a logistics professional with good operations know-how and commercial sense. You will have the skills and previous experience to manage an existing team of approximately 6-10 tenured logistics advisers. You engage in businessdevelopment activities in an effort to grow the customer base here in Ireland.
The job will include but is not limited to:* Management of the existing staff members
* Actively seek new opportunities for growth
* Report back to HQ in agreed intervals on progress and improvements
* Ensure the branch is running efficiently and ensuring maximisation of productivity and profitability
The successful person should be well versed in multi-modal logistics and take a hands-on approach to managementrelated to air freight, sea freight, road freight and customs clearance.
