Job Title: Temporary Van Driver
Location: Cork (Travelling within the Munster area)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: €13.46 perhour
I am currently seeking a reliable and responsible temporary Van Driver for a company based out of the Tramore road in Cork. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for extension based on performance and business needs. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our valued customers and other stores within the Munster area.
Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a company van and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
* Load and unload goods and materials from the van
* Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently
* Deliver goods to customers and other stores within the Munster area
* Ensure the accuracy of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and documentation
* Provide exceptional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns
* Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of the van
* Communicate effectively with the team to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license anda clean driving record
* Manual Handling Certification is mandatory
* Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred
* Familiarity with the Munster area and good navigational skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Physical fitness and ability to handle and lift heavy items
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
