We are working exclusively with our client, based in the Bandon area, who are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Lead. You will be joining a long-established, award-winning industrial food manufacturer who supplies premium goods in to the retail industries in Ireland and UK. This is a growing company who saw a marked rise in orders during thepandemic and are "recession proof". This is a days only MONDAY - FRIDAY salaried position.
The Role
* Working withautomated and semi-automated production lines.
* Work effectively within the small engineering team to assist in the continuous improvement of service and processes and ensure best practice is consistently applied.
* Carrying out planned and reactive preventative maintenance.
* Respond to unforeseen breakdowns within a defined timeframe.
* Project management experience although not essential.
Who We Are Looking For
* You will have a recognised electrical qualification and a minimum of 10+ years proven experience with industrial machine electrical control environments.
* You will possess good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
* A working knowledge of pneumatic control would be highly advantageous.
* Possess the ability to work on own initiative and as part of the engineering team.
* Have a working knowledge of industrial control instrumentation.* Applicants possessing a working knowledge of PLC based automation will have a distinct advantage.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics and specifications.
* Knowledge of modern industrial bakery equipment such as mixers, depositors, flow wrappers, label applicators, box erectors etc., will be a distinct advantage.
