Description:
Our client, based in Tipperary, is looking to recruit a facilities technician for their busy,state of the art production facility. This facilities technician job is paying a whopping 73k PA (base + shift premium) which will increase to 82k in 3 years. Obviously that sort of moolah requires a bit of sacrifice in the way of working shifts!! They runa 4 cycle shift - 7 shifts (12 hr shifts 6-6) over 2 weeks alternating days and nights. The bonus of this shift pattern is thetime off during the second week.
You will be joining a multi national company who produce a household food brand. The companyactively seeks to promote people internally and this facilities technician job has come about due to someone being promoted internally from facilities technician to maintenance supervisor.
* Are you a fitter or an electrician? or millwright/mechatronic technician?
* Do you have 3 years facilities maintenance experience working on boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, Watertreatment plant, steam, CIP, WWTP?
* Are you working as a contractor looking for stability and a permanent job so you can apply for a mortgage? or a facilities maintenance technician looking to make a move and join a strong, well supported maintenance team?
* Are you working in the dairy, meat, pharma, oil and gas, marine industries as a facilities technician/engineer?
Yourduties will include:
Carry out daily, weekly, monthly tasks, standardised tasks as assigned and record these on CMMS system
Day to day operation, repair and maintenance of all utilities and systems necessary to support manufacturing and to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all systems.
Work with manufacturing, Quality and outside vendors to complete servicing, calibration and validation work on equipment and utilities.
Follow all permits to work such as hot works, working at heights, confinedspace.
Record all, working hours for utilisation purposes in CMMS system
Carry out safety Gemba walk log safety issues and close out same
Execute planned preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all plant and equipment is tested and inspected in a timely fashion.
Liaise with maintenance planner and stores for spares part ordering and planning
Responsible for the efficientrunning, improved operational performance of all utility supplies such as electricity, steam, gas, water, CO2 ,Air , industrialRefrigeration , process, crushing lines and waste water treatment plant
Play a critical part in driving the Energy and Environmental programs for the site
Become a super user in Pragma CMMS system on site
