Currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter for a manufacturing client based in Kildare
Role and Responsibilities:
* Well versed with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, with scheduling and planning of Preventative maintenance and personnel.
* Good understanding of lock out - tag out procedures, operating procedures, safety procedures and safe work method statements.
* Reporting to the Maintenance manager, you will be responsible for maintenance(mechanical & basic electrical) support of all site manufacturing activities ensuring uptime of process equipment is maximised to achieve highest possible production outputs.
Key functions of your role are:
* Focus on execution of planned maintenance as well as effective reactive / breakdown support.
* Troubleshooting of equipment failures and initiation of corrective actions.
* Use of the Maintenance system, and updating corrective action reporting, and using TPM techniques.
* Problem solving of pneumatic and hydraulic issues as well as all mechanical based unplanned stoppages.
* Project based installation, commissioning, upgrades as well as shutdown activities.
Your existing skills as an experienced Maintenance Fitter will include the ability to work closely with manufacturing operations.

Knowledge and experience of the following required:
* Ability to readengineering drawings.
* Familiar with maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Servicing and replacement of gearbox and drive systems (machinery).
* General fabrication.
* Basic electrical knowledge.
