Description:
Our client, based in Kildare requires a Quality and EHS Manager for their state of the art production facility.
You will be joining a multinational company which supplies a high quality product into the high risk food industry.
If you are looking to join a multinational company (without the corporate politics and large organisation red tape and hoop jumping) then this might be the job you have been waiting for! You will be part of the senior management team and have 3 direct reports with another 2 indirect reports.
You will have a Food Science or Engineering degree coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience (SHEQ) in a high volume manufacturing facility - which is food related (producing or supplying into).

As the ideal candidate you will have:
* A strong commitment to Health and safety.
* Strong background in themanagement of quality systems.
* Proven abilities and experience in developing customer and supplier relationships.
* Ableto demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills.
* Strong leadership / influencing skills, good communication and presentation skills, ability to work as part of a team.
* Possessing strong IT literacy, SPC skills and the ability to organise information in a structured way, with an in-depth knowledge of the use and implementation of quality systems and tools and techniques.
Your duties will include:
* Delivering customer satisfaction and confidence by ensuring the required level of qualitythroughout our systems, processes and products.
* Developing and sustaining our quality system, through the use of WCM & Quality tools and adherence to our philosophy of continuous improvement, underpinning our commitment as a world-class supplierof quality product to the infant formula market.
* Ensuring our plant processes are under control and divisional quality guidelines respected, through systematic internal plant audits.
* Maintenance of the ISO 9001, ISO14001, OSHAS 18001 and BRC IoP certification at operation level.
* Management of the key customer driven projects.
* Functionally responsible for managing,supporting and co-ordinating the activities of the plant to ensure continual focus on achieving both our customers objectives and those of the business.
* Effective communication, administration and reporting of key aspects of our Quality and EHS programmes.
* Management, coordination and implementation of new systems to support operations in delivering a safe environment for our employees and also the delivery of a high quality product to our customer.
* Managing safety for the site including procedures, standards and improvements to maintain a safe workplace environment.
* Participating in the defining of our future visionas a world class quality operation.
