A CQC rated GOOD surgery In Basingstoke, Hampshire are looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their incredibly organised and efficient team. Offering a high hourly rate of £30ph.
Our pro-active client has a brilliant team and a very flexible working schedule - with an undoubtedly solid working practice with excellent links to the CCG. They meet every day for a coffee, and weekly to discuss everything inthe surgery. They have developed new and innovative ways of working and with new NHS ways of working they are in a good position going forward. A purpose-built surgery who not only have a brilliant set up (detailed below), but who are very much about ensuring all staff are happy and looked after.
Being based in Basingstoke, they are looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their practice for a 12-month locum contract and be an essential part of the team and growth plans. They are a very tight knit team, and their GPs & Nurses are an integral part of the team and will be very well looked after both on a personal and business level, even supplied with regular cups of tea!
The Package
The opportunity is not your usual locum role and is an incredibly interesting project that is for up to 10 sessions per week (5 full days per week) starting ASAP for 12 + months. The CCG have started a scheme to help a surgery who have struggled with their patients. These patients will now need full medication& symptoms review, working alongside a GP and clinical pharmacist.
You will be working in an incredibly tight knit team consisting of yourself, a GP and a Pharmacist.
The set up
You will be seeing 10 -15 patients per day with 20 - 30-minute appts.
Start and finish time is roughly 09:00 - 18:00
Using Emis web.
Before any patient comes in to be seen, you will have recent blood results, urine samples and a suggested medication plan from the pharmacist.
Arden's have created templates for Emis to help with your consultations and process which will need to be used and stuck to.
Pay up to £30ph / day outside ofIR35.
The role is the first of its kind of this size and will go down in modern Primary care history along with being writtenin GP training going forward so is a real opportunity to be a huge part of the development and plans.
