Retail Garden Assistant
Purpose ofthe Role: This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, diverse team to assist in a Garden Centre and Store.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
* Providing horticultural information re: planting, feeding, maintainingetc.
* Report issues and escalate complaints to the manager where required.
* Monitoring product pricing and stock control* Maintaining signage displays and merchandising.
* Dealing with customer queries and making recommendations
* Assist in reducing garden centre waste through monitoring
* Participate as a team member in achieving the strategy of the Co-Op Retail andGarden Centre through continuous improvement and Lean management.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Experiencein retail and horticulture
* Strong experience dealing with customers.
* Works effectively as part of a team.
* Computerliterate
* Strong communication skills
