Asone of the fastest growing areas in the clinical trials space, my client is looking for the right hire to beat the pace of the market, bringing innovation, collaboration, and strategy to build market share and to continue the upward trajectory of the current Gene Therapy team at this leading healthcare company in Waterford.
They are seeking an Analytical Lab Manager - Gene Therapy to join their team and to assist in the growth of the Gene Therapy section. This multi-national biopharma company are currently expanding their molecular development capabilities and this role offers an opportunity for a Senior Scientist/Team Lead to put their Gene Therapy knowledge and managerial experience to good practical use.Contact Felicity 086 7821714
**GMP INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL**
This is what you'll be doing:
* Lead, develop and coach a team of scientists specialising in gene therapy
* As the Quality Control Manager , you will oversee all budget and lab procurement responsibilities.
* Ensure all testing is carried out with properly developed, validated and approved methods.
* Work cross functionally with project managementand production to support seasonal and periodic increases in workload.
* A key member of the site leadership team.
The success candidate for the Analytical Lab Manager - Gene Therapy will be:
*
Degree, Masters or PhD educated in life sciences.
* Extensive pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, cell therapy or gene therapy GMP industry experience.
* Quality Control leadership skills at Manager or Team Leader level.
