My client, a multi-functional SME serve a very broad customer base including pharma and med tech companies, utility & transport companies, environmental regulators, county councils etc. This is a progressive company with ambitions to expand their current product/service offerings through a pipeline of innovation coming from their new product development (NPD) teams.
In this pivotal role, you will join as an Environmental Laboratory Manager, and will have ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Environmentallaboratory

YOUR NEW JOB!
Reporting to the Technical Director some of the key elements of the Environmental Lab Manager job include:
* Installation, operation and troubleshooting of instrumentation such as IC,ICP-MS, AA, LC-MS/MS, GC, GC-MS and HPLC.
* Responsible for method development on the above instrumentation
* Operating under a continuous improvement ethos.
* Manage and develop a team of analysts (7) and offer technical guidance and support
* Ensure the activities of the laboratories conform to the relevant QMS standards of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001
