Sample Management Coordinator Cork - Biotechnology
Are you interested in working with a skilled group of technical professionals?
A new role has just become available for a Sample Management Coordinator to work in an international biotechnology site, to work to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.
JobResponsibilities include:
* Address Ad Hoc/Daily issues and key point of contact for requests and shipping.
* Over-arching view of Sample Management team function and support to team.
* Attend and lead morning meetings with operations.
* Collaborate with teams to define and manage agreed metrics.
* Manage retains sample process, including put-away, disposal, shipping and write down as appropriate.
* Act as a key point of contact for all requests/queries relating to samples from both operations and the laboratory.
* Provide input into relevant operating procedures and training materials.
* Documentation review(logbooks, tickets etc.).
* Management / Coordination of capacity analysis for sample storage and operational effort in largemolecule, working with personnel to understand expected production demand overall capacity (Space and personnel).
* Responsible for adhering to all company standards in the areas of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies.
* Having a full working knowledge of the Sample Management Operations and leading by example to ensure SMO group workingto full potential.
* Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implementcontinuous improvement.
* Participating in Team Meetings and giving updates to rest of team as necessary.
Qualifications:
* Certificate in Bioprocessing (or greater), or a third level qualification in a scientific/engineering discipline is required.
* A minimum of 3-5 years GMP experience within Sampling Operations.
* GMP experience is essential
* Attention to detail.
* Good organisation of time management and flexibility essential.
* Good communication skills both internally and externally.
