MCG Construction are looking for a Temporary Work Supervisor
- Temporary work Supervisor certificate and CSCS card
Reporting into a Site Manager your duties will include:
* Ensure that the procedures for thecontrol of temporary works are implemented.
* Maintain clear lines of communication between sub-contractor staff and where appropriate, the permanent works designers and constructors.
* To enforce any corrective actions whenever a deviation is identified.
* Compile a schedule detailing each element of the temporary works required for the project.
* Check that the design brief is adequate and accords with the site conditions.
* For each individual set of temporary works above Cat 0, ensure a certificate (Design Check) and inspection (Permit to Load/Dismantle) is issued before works are carried out.
* Competence in compliance with to BS 5975 - Code of Practice for Temporary Works
* Good working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations
* Working knowledge of building regulations and experience of dealing with main contractors on a regular basis.
