The Role
IT Manager required for a company based in Liverpool. The IT Manager role focuses on the delivery of SLAs to the business and our customers. Ensuring ITIL best practiceis at the core of our delivery.
The daily objectives of delivering service and software solutions to the business within a ISO 27001, ITIL, NIST framework. The role is 80% IT department management with 20% hands on IT leadership.

What You Will Be Doing*
Take overall responsibility for the IT service delivery teams within a ITIL framework
*
Ensure that computer systems and networks are running smoothly.
*
Act as a departmental lead in the absence of IT/IS Director.
*
Conduct staffappraisals, reviews and set KPIS in line with the team.
*
Be responsible for IT continuity of service, cyber security, and disaster recovery.
*
Be responsible for managing external IT services, suppliers, and provider service levels.
*
Be responsible for the administration of 27001 policy and process.
*
Process GDPR SAR and report incidents to the Data Protection Officer.
*
Manage availability of the IT and development team resources within DevOps.
*
Maintain the Technology department commitment to budget accountability.
*
Maintain self and the team with current IT accreditation as definedin the review process.
*
Always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards.
*
Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved.
*
Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
Be able to maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
*
Have ITIL accreditation andbe comfortable driving ITIL process.
*
Have worked in an ISO 27001 organisation and be aware of the requirements for ISO27001.
*
Enjoy working in an agile DevOps fast paced environment.
*
Have a solid industry IT technical understandingof Microsoft solutions.
*
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
*
Have a strong orientation towardsquality, safety, and continuous improvement.
*
Have the ability to prioritise work, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and manage business expectations.
*
Full UK Driving Licence.
*
A legal right to work in the UK.
