Description:
As an IT Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for end user technical issues. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing prompt and friendly assistance to end users, resolving basic technical problems efficiently.
* Escalating complex issues to higher levels of support when necessary, ensuring the best possible solutions.
* Guidingend users through troubleshooting processes, both verbally and in writing.
* Tracking, routing, and redirecting technical problems to appropriate resources for resolution.
* Following up with users to provide feedback and ensure problems are fully resolved.
* Communicating technical information clearly to a diverse range of end users.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and closing help desk tickets.
* Identifying opportunities for procedure enhancements and improvements.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience in providing help desk support
* The ability to thrive under pressure ina fast-paced environment.
* A willingness to embrace learning and adapt in a rapidly evolving industry.
* Working knowledgeof Windows Server 2019 and 2023.
* Expertise in supporting Windows 10/11, PC hardware, printers, scanners, and computer peripherals.
* Hands-on experience deploying PCs and printers.
* Strong diagnostic skills for both hardware and software issues.* Familiarity with help desk software, databases, and remote control tools.
* Exceptional client-facing and communication abilities.
* Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking skills.
