THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in the heart of Hertfordshire, that have been providing IT solutions for over 30 years. As part of their strategic growth plans, they are now looking to add an experienced Senior IT Systems administrator to lead the existing team.
As a Senior IT Systems Administrator, youwill play a key role in driving the business forward overseeing and managing the existing IT infrastructure and adopting industry best practices. You will provide support for the global wide user base and maintain compliance policies/procedures.
This position requires a candidate with a wide interest in the full IT life cycle and eager to display their existing skills from research and development through to implementation and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Management of IT infrastructure and network infrastructure
* Liaise and manage all key third-party relationships, including software and hardware suppliers
* Implementation and development of security controls
* Support and develop junior engineers
* Responsible for business continuity and disaster recovery policies and procedures
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the Senior IT Systems Administrator role will have the following skills and experience:
* Previous experience as a Senior IT Systems Administrator or senior third line level role
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure components (Azure DevOps, Azure AD, Azure SQL, App Services)* Windows Server through to 2019
* Hyper-V
* SQL Server
* Office 365 tools
* SAP Business One
* Sophos Endpoint Protection
* Cisco Umbrella
* ISO 27001 (highly desirable)
