Highways General Manager
Will be responsible for the management (operational, commercial and financial) performance of each of the highways contracts and will be covering parts of London, Kent, Suffolk, Oxford and Teesside, along with additional locations acrossthe UK based in Welwyn Garden City.
The role:
* Manage the transport contracts
* To Liaise with clients, designers and their advisors on; programming, performance and contractual issues, ensuring that the contracts are utilized in the interest with delivery in accordance with the contractual agreements.
The person:
* Experience of working on Highways EnglandNetwork with a good knowledge of their operation and the responsibilities of all parties
* Technical competence and operational experience within a highway infrastructure
* Qualified at HNC level (or equivalent)
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to multi-task
* Flexible approach to working, with the ability to adapt to change where required
* Full driving licence
