Do you love everything Ski? Established, stable and successful company are seeking a Chalet Manager and Operations Executive to join their team?Based in London this role is a mix of both office and homeworking.
Job Description:
* Ensure smooth operations of chaletholiday products including before during and after holidays.
* Organise and assist with in resort pre-season preparation andend of season cleaning and closing down of all chalets in resort. This will involve driving a rental vehicle out to resort.
*Responsible for chalet staff recruitment and management
* Providing out of hours support to chalet staff on an ad hoc basis* Management of chalet budget and in resort operations
* Supplying each chalet with arrival figures for following week
*Monitor all orders for food, wine, cleaning materials and other items from each of the chalets in resort
* Main point of contact for ski instructors to check in and assist with any issues.
* Collating post chalet trip reports and client feedback - assess each holiday as to establish any issues or areas for improvement.
Management of booking numbers alongside sales team toensure profitability of each trip
* Checking, recording and processing invoices, chasing where necessary
Experience Required:
* Knowledgeable and passionate about skiing or snowboarding
* Previous chalet host or resort representative experience - essential
* Experience in/knowledge of the ski travel industry
* Fluent in French - essential
* Highly organised and flexible - able to cope well with varied and challenging tasks
* Experience of dealing with international clients of different backgrounds is beneficial
* Ideal candidate would hold a full driving license and be confident of driving a van in winter conditions
* EU passport and/or the right to work and live in France - desirable but not essential
The Package:
* Salary£25,000 - £28,000
* 9-5:30pm with flexibility for early or late starts in the summer, and remote working throughout the year* Regular social events with the team
* All travel to and from our chalets is included - approximately twice a season (startand end)
