Amazing opportunity to join a Travel Company in South London for a Groups Operations Executive. This role is a hybrid working position and we are particularly interested in someone who speaks one of the following languages Italian, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese, along with fluent English for the Groups Operations Executive role.
Job Description:
This role will be to working within the Operations Team, handling groups mainly but not solely from the US to the UK and rest of Europe.
* Working with clients and mainly handling confirmed groups.
* Researching special interests for specific client interests
* Negotiating rates with suppliers including hotels, coaches, restaurants, guides, and entertainment venues
* Building close working relationships with travel trade clients and suppliers
* Attending siteinspections and preparing and attending Fam trips
* All operating aspects of the tour to final invoicing
* Attending Trade shows and Exhibitions to represent the Company
Skills Required:
* Fluent English and at least one other European language,preferably Italian, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese.
* Computer literacy - including Word and Excel
* Good geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
* Previous Operations experience of the UK and preferably Europe
* Tourplan - desirable but not essential.
* Team player
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Ability to multi-task
* Ability to travel when required
* Proven organisational skills
* Sense of humor
* Ability to work some weekends if necessary
The Package:
* Salary £24,000 - £26,000
* Full time. 9 to 5:30
* November, December and July and August, 9 to 5.
* Friday iswork from home day for everyone (so office is closed).
* Luncheon vouchers (after 6 months)
