I am currently looking for a Senior Villas Travel Specialist based in South West London. The Travel Consultant takes responsibility for all currentand future clients experiences of our client, from the moment they initially contact us through various channels, arranging andconfirming their travels, making contact upon their return and setting up the next experience for our client.

Using in-depthknowledge of the destination, personal insight and using the full resource of our client, the service delivered should be consistently exceptional. This is measured through an ability to convert enquiries into profitable sales and deliver against expectations of consistently high client satisfaction and promote repeat business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operating Procedures:
Client Contact

* At the earliest opportunity, to contact enquiries with a view to nurturing this initial enquiry into an active sales lead.
* To proactively ensure familiarity with all products development in your region - most specially those promoted onthe clients Villas website, in brochures, magazines and any other marketing collateral, including special offers.
* To routinely attend products training sessions, including participating on company sponsored educational trips.
* Attend and actively participate in all learning opportunities, offering tour expertise to the training team where requested to increase knowledge across the business.
* Complete the relevant educational pre and post trip paperwork, including the preparation and delivery of apresentation to your team and the office.
* Use effective questioning techniques to effectively establish client requirementsand then use your product knowledge to find the perfect villa and to create a bespoke itinerary, matching these established preference and requirements.
* Ability to sell all destinations within your sales department, with no requirement to specialise in specific regions.
* Ensure that quotes are produced and delivered to the client within 24hrs - if this is not possible, thenthe client must be kept up to date with progress.
* To maintain an efficient, professional, and friendly relationship with the client throughout the booking process. Maintain regular contract with clients (and travel agents) to keep them informed of progress and the status of booking, including updating on developments.
* To call the client pre-travel (2/3 days) and post-travel (2/3 days) to seek feedback, pre-empt any problems and maintain a courteous relationship.
* Encourage the client to completea post-travel questionnaire, ideally resulting in at least 50% of clients doing so.
* Take responsibility for any post-travelproblem solving in a professional, expedient and diplomatic manner, always looking to exceed expectations and deliver total client satisfaction.
* To work in close partnership with the Programmes Manager - offering them a clear view of how many enquiresare currently being worked on and allowing them the opportunity to assist and, potentially, re-distribute sales leads to the requirements of the company. It is expected that a comprehensive daily update is provided, with complete visibility of your to-dolist.

General

* Reliably follow all company processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency. Additionally, you should also look to make recommendations for enhancements.
* Actively participate in, and implement learning from, all available hard and soft skills training.
* Provide cover for absent colleagues so that service delivery to clients is seamless and maintained.
* Provide support to your team and sales manager with other files as required.
* Represent our client as all client events and trade exhibitions and be an ambassador for the brand.
* As required, provide mentoring and buddy support to new starters during their probation period. Any agreement to provide support will result in a 20% discount to your SIP target during thefirst three months of the new starters probationary period.
* Within business requirements, responsibility for designing yourown educational' s and providing input into the contents. Priority will be given to Tier 1 and Tier 2 destinations.
* Eligibility for one educational or TEA per year, an allowance of ten workings will be offered for your trip. Any requests for an extension to this amount will be considered in line with the business needs and will require the approval from the Director of Sales inadvance.

Revenue & Profitability

* Proactively manage the progress of itineraries from initial quote through to bookings and repeat business - specifically following up all itinerary proposals sent to clients to ensure maximum conversation to bookings to maximise revenue and profit. This involves the very deliberate application of sales techniques.
* Be aware of individual and team sales targets, always working to ensure these are achieved or exceeded.
* Maintain an overall blended margin for the year that is in line with the business objectives for your department. Discounts can be offered on bookings where there isa business need, without sales manager permission. Within agreed parameters and ensuring overall average margins are maintained, PTE's can set their own margin for bookings
* Responsible for providing clear notes within TS for both margin movements anddiscounts on all bookings
* Ensure that client balance payments are received 8 weeks before departure (or as soon as practicalregarding late bookings).
* When including international air travel in an itinerary, pay particular attention to the fare rules and ticketing deadlines, always ensuring payments as been received to cover associated costs.

Sales Performance

* Collect and increase client information to ensure relevant information is retained.
* Elicit and record specific reasons why a proposed trip did not result in a booking to learn directly from the client and use this knowledge in the future.
* Sign off thefile post-travel, securing repeat business and recommendations.
