The Role
My client, a large, international not-for-profit organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to jointheir operations. This is a full-time, permanent, remote position.
As the Programme Coordinator you will be responsible forensuring the effective Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) for a multi-annual project across 11 countriesincluding data collation, monitoring and reporting.
Tasks & Duties
* Serve as the central focal point for all MEAL aspects on the project.
* Ensure timely and accurate monitoring and reporting on project logframe indicators through partner engagement.
* Collaborate closely with the project country teams to develop and implement a global-level MEAL plan, including the monitoring of in-country logframes and their integration into the global logframe.
* Harmonise MEAL monitoring and reporting systems across the 11 project countries, ensuring alignment with global logframe indicators and results.
* Maintain andupdate the project global logframe and activity matrix; participate in and support monitoring activities, visits, and follow-upon implementation in project countries.
* Integrate the Dxtam Common Approach to Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and SocialAccountability (CAMSA) into the project MEAL plan in collaboration with the project PMU.
* Record key aspects of project implementation, ensuring lessons learned are assimilated by project teams, partners, and other stakeholders.
* Collect concrete evidence of achievements and challenges, implementing corrective measures during activity implementation, gather concrete evidenceregarding achievements & challenges & implement corrective measures.
* Support countries in conducting baselines for the project and provide technical guidance on the design of in-country logframes, MEAL tools, and reporting templates.
* Contribute to knowledge management by assisting the PMU in drafting communication materials, creating documentation, and learning papers, and promoting the organisations MEAL practices.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
Essential Criteria
*Hold a third-level qualification in social sciences, statistics, or international development, with experience or background inM&E and the application of participatory M&E tools, OR significant experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing monitoring and evaluation processes in programmes.
* Demonstratable experience in the design and coordination of baseline/endline surveys, MEAL plans, log frames, and MEAL data collection methods and tools.
* Possess fluency in spoken and written English with strong analytical skills; be proficient in the use of Office applications and data analysis programs.
Desirable Criteria
* Hold a Master's level qualification in a relevant subject, showcasing technical expertise and demonstrated experience applying participatory tools.
* Have experience working with international NGOs on development or humanitarian programs, with knowledge and experience in M&E approaches and requirements for key donors such as the EU, particularly Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM).
* Demonstrate relevant working experience in low or middle-income settings, preferably in development oradvocacy projects.
* French and/or Spanish language skills.
