Automation Engineer / FunctionalSafety Engineer
I am delighted to be exclusively representing our client, an impressive multinational, who have an excitingrole for an Automation Engineer / Functional Safety Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of the team working within their Centre of Excellence for Europe, from where you will provide process evaluation and safety lifecycle totheir process and machine industry customers. Our client partners with a number of leading, well-known manufacturing companies throughout Europe.
Essential requirements summarised
The successful candidate will have a Degree in an Engineering discipline and have a minimum of 2+ years' experience within process or machine industry. You will have a strong technical knowledge with the ability to understand and identify potential issues in industrial process designs and assist customers in achieving a functionally safe work environment. You will also be customer focused, have strong problem-solving skills and an ability to take ownership

Key Responsibilities
* Engineering services per functional safety standards for industrial automation, machines, and fire & gas
* Perform safety lifecycle tasks for process industry and machinery industry customers
* Facilitate work item reportout with customers
* Work in close cooperation with Sr. Safety Engineer
* Represent the company at industry meetings, conferences and/or participating in industry committees
* Write articles and blogs for our website
