Business Development & Bid Executive
Hybrid Role (2 days in Galway office/3 days at home)
Our client a leading Engineering Consultancy is seeking to recruit a Business Development & Bid Executive. This is an exciting and challenging role, responsible for supporting the delivery of business development and tender activities for the company. The ideal candidate will be a confident and outgoingprofessional with a natural flair for generating business.
Business Development & Bid Executive
* Liaison and co-ordination on a weekly basis with the Director of Business Development and the Divisional Operations Directors to agree on key tasksand outputs
* Assist with the preparation and coordination of public and private sector tenders and bids (within specific project timelines)
* Assist with the research, collation, and presentation of data for Business Development pursuits
* Assist with key account management activities (client engagement (Business Development)) i.e., cold calls, generating leads, managing relationships, and booking in presentations and meetings with new and current clients each week
* Competencies required and preferred experience:
Requirements:
* Qualification in either Construction, Engineering, Business, or Administration
* 3 -5years of tendering or comparable experience, preferably in the consultancy sector or construction industry
* 3-5 years of business development or sales experience within the construction or engineering industry
* Experience of CRM software and TenderPortals, knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, and Outlook
