Currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician for my client based in Bray, Co Wicklow
Main Duties and Responsibilities;
* Functional testing of new software releases - logging and maintaining of supporting documentation
* Hardware testing for new product releases - logging and maintaining of supporting documentation
* Production support to assist in system set up, configuration and manufacturing where needed.
* Regular involvement and input in engineering and New Product Development meetings
* Control panel schematic CAD drawings
* CNC operation, design and manufacture of engraved fascia requirements
Essential;
* Degree or 3rd level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* Experience working with any of QA test systems
* Knowledge of at least one scripting language (bash, cli, PowerShell)
* Familiar with rapid prototyping methods (CNC, 3D printers)
* Experience working with Arduino or Raspberry Pi platforms
* Knowledge of and experience working with any programming language (not essential)
