Description:
Our client, based in Co Kilkenny requires an industrial electrician, to join their established maintenanceteam. This is a maintenance supervisory job and reports in to the maintenance manager. This is a full time permanent industrialelectrician job, days M-F with call out and overtime required.
You will be joining an Irish owned company who have been in existence for 100+ years. This company have evolved with the times and recently had a large factory extension with new state of theart production equipment being installed.
Do you have proven experience as a maintenance supervisor?
Are you a qualified electrician with strong technical knowledge of automated electrical control systems?
Do you have experience of Scada PLC systemsand liaising with automation partners?
Your duties will include
* maintenance of automated high speed packing systems.
*Experience in pneumatic and steam systems.
* Ability to identify and analyse root cause of problems while implementing permanent solutions.
* Coordinate the installation, maintenance and repair work required at our site.
* Manage a team of workers whowill regularly inspect equipment and installations, delegate and execute work as necessary and assign workers to various projects.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department reporting to the Maintenance Manager.
* Evaluate systems or facilities to determine preventative maintenance or repairs that need to be performed and develop appropriate maintenanceprocedures and schedules.
* Liaise with production and management to identify and drive maintenance, process, and environmentalimprovements.
* Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety regulations.
* Liaise with the Maintenance Manager on the procurement of equipment spares
