Description:
Maintenance Support Engineer - Carlow.
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Support Engineer to work with a leading pharmaceutical company on a 12 month contract.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance technicians andengineers, ensuring the efficient operation of equipment maintenance systems. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of the maintenance CMMS system, specifically SAP, to ensure accurate creation of maintenance plans, task lists, spare parts, and BOMs.
Responsibilities:
* Implement production maintenance plans in the CMMS system (SAP), including tasklists for maintenance activities.
* Build new equipment, spare parts, and BOMs in the CMMS system (SAP).
* Conduct equipmentassessments to identify spare parts requirements in collaboration with maintenance technicians and engineers.
* Complete Change Controls through the site change management system.
* Identify and execute equipment and system improvements through project completion.
* Drive continuous improvement and perform root cause analysis on system failures using standard tools and methods.
* Ensure compliance with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, regulatory requirements, and cGMP in day-to-day activities.
* Collaborate to foster a safe and compliant culture within the company.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related Science, Engineering, or other Technical discipline.
* Knowledgeof CMMS systems, especially SAP or equivalent.
* Understanding of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job-related computer applications.
* Knowledge of cGMP and GDP preferred.
* SAP knowledge and experience preferred.
* Report, standards, and policy writing skills required.
