Description:
My client, a exciting start-up specialising in medical device contractmanufacturing, is actively seeking a skilled Process Development Engineer to join their innovative team in Cork City.
Reporting directly to the Site Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising the manufacturing processes for their customers diverse range of products. You will be responsible for formulating internal test plans, protocols, and process documentation that seamlessly align with the stringent requirements set by ISO standards.
This position presents an exceptional opportunity for an Engineer who possesses a robust proficiency in manufacturing processes and methodologies, who is eager to broaden their horizons in a dynamic setting.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineeringand/or a Technical Degree with minimum of 2 years related experience
* Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to collect, summarise and report technical information
* Proficient in application of various statistical techniques and analysis (Minitab a plus)
* Knowledge and experience working with ISO 13485, 10993, and 21CFR Part 820 regulations would be advantageous.
* Knowledge of manufacturing methods
* Ability to design simple fixturing with the use of Solidworks
*Self-starter and motivated individual who works both independently and with a team
* Detail-oriented and highly organised individual
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
