**PACKAGING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL**THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of leading, forward-thinking and innovative company within the Packaging Industry that has an impressive client base which spans internationally. Due to continued success across the UK and globally, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join them as they continue to grow and expand their UK team, with opportunity to become the UK Sales Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Reporting to the Directors, you'll be responsible for both operational and strategical growth of the companies sales within the UK
* Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met.
* Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and concluding business opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with other teams, particularly procurement, technical and customer service, to ensure that customers' expectations are met.
* Where required lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to enhance business performance and customer experience.
* Operate as an influential leader in and outsidethe business, role modelling the company's values and behaviours.
THE PERSON:
* Experience within a Business Developmentposition within the Packaging Industry is essential
* Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate with multipledecision makers
* Ability to travel throughout the UK
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong business acumen and commercial skills
* Career driven individual who wants to progress with a fast growing business
