Business Development Manager - Government & Justice - Nationwide - £50k - £65k (£100k+ OTE)  
Experienced in self-management and sales generation and looking for your next challenge? 
We are looking for a outstanding Business Development Manager from a Government & Justice background who can build a strong market position by locating, developing, defining and closing new business opportunities across the UK for one of our Global Fire & Security Companies. 
This position is to join a growing organisation which will form part of their wider sales strategy to become a truly dynamic, new business sales orientated organisation. Whilst also providing their existing customers with exceptional customer service. Candidates will be considered all across the UK.
Responsibilities:
 * You ultimately will be responsible for the management and sales generation of new Government & Justice Accounts by proactively identifying and converting new account opportunities.
 * Be involved in the development of new sales strategies to maximize sales opportunities in target market.
 * Ensure closure of new business opportunities by organising requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements into standard business operations.
 * Self-manage and grow your pipeline to ensure monthly and quarterly sales objectives are metor exceeded.
 * Ensure that cross-selling activity is performed across all value streams (Fire, Security, PFX).
 * Keep an ear to the ground for any competitors, decision makers and influencers in each opportunity.
 * Build relationships with selectivecontractors and other third parties to support growth targets.
Candidate Requirements:
 * Great communication and presentation skills and be able to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
 * Must have an in-depth knowledge of Government & Justice with a proven track record.
 * A successful track record of achievement with evidence of significant new business development on a national scale.
 * Must be competent in the understanding of services and products and havethe ability to revolutionise new ways the product can serve customers.
 * If you have sales experience gained within the Fire and Electronic Security industry that would be advantageous.
 * Adept in Commercial Acumen
 * An in-depth understanding of RFP's, PQQ's and the Tendering process.
 * Full and Current UK Driving Licence.
 * Also proven experience in encouraging motivation, commitment and enthusiasm in others.
 * Possess the credibility to gain respect of customers, employees and senior management.
Package:
 * Basic salary: £50,000 - £65,000
 * Realistic OTE: £100,000 (Highest earners around £135,000)
