SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER
READING AREA - HYBRID WORKING
Up to £80,000 PER ANNUM + BENEFITS + CAREER PROGRESSION
THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to continued expansion Globally, they arenow looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the business to work closely with their Research &Development team and Marketing team to develop new and innovative products that offer solutions their clients need!
This is afantastic opportunity for someone from a Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager / Portfolio Manager / Portfolio MarketingManager / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager / Head of Product Marketing / Senior Portfolio Manager / Head of Portfolio Marketing who is looking for an opportunity to put their own stamp on Product Marketing and create a team in that area.
THE PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER DUTIES:
* Working with the R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales and Marketing teams closely
* Developing and implementing short and long term product strategies that are informed by customer insights and the needs of global clients
* Taking responsibility of the existing product portfolio and identifying areas to drive the performance of existing products
* Leading the portfolio and innovation strategy to achieve business objectives
* Identifying gaps in the portfolio and new product development ideas, creating a pipeline of product line extensions and enhancements to the portfolio
* Partneringwith the Research and Development team to manage projects through from new development to delivery
* Building and maintainingstrong relationships with strategic suppliers
* Enhancing portfolio margins and improving the competitiveness in the marketplace
* Leading on product launch strategy in partnership with the wider marketing team
* Management of all aspects of the portfolio including P&L, packaging, product collateral, supplier updates and forecasting
* Building relationships and encouraging communication from key clients to establish feedback on the existing portfolio and areas of improvement
* Working with the sales and marketing teams to ensure continuous growth
THE PERSON:
* Multiple years' experience in a Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager / Portfolio Manager / Portfolio Marketing Manager / Head of Product / Senior Product Manager / Head ofProduct Marketing / Senior Portfolio Manager / Head of Portfolio Marketing or similar role
* A strong understanding of new product development processes such as phase gate
* Qualified to degree level (ideally MBA) in a related field
* Proven track record of leading a vision and strategy across multiple projects and departments
