What You Will Be Doing
*
Participate in an on-call rotation
*
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot full-stack environments
*
Proactively research and recommend new IT solutions, including vendor evaluations
*
Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures
*
Provide technical support and assistance to other internal teams with their IT infrastructure requirements
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
Experience with automation, application deployment andinfrastructure provisioning
*
Creating and maintaining Infrastructure As Code using tools such as Puppet, Ansible or Terraform
*
Work with log aggregation tools like ELK or Splunk
*
Strong understanding of key networking protocols such asTCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
*
GIT version control
*
3+ years of experience with VMWare or OpenStack virtualisation technologies
*
3+ years of experience scripting and/or programming in a Linux & Windows environment
*
4 years' experience in a similar role or as a technical specialist
*
Excellent organisation, task prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to operate independently
*
Python, PowerShell or GO experience for basic automation tasks
*
Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Bamboo and Confluence
*
Experience with Veeam Backup & Recovery
