It acts on behalf of non-EU manufacturers of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated products. The main responsibility of the European Authorized Representative is to ensure that the manufacturer is in compliance with EU regulations and standards, represent the manufacturer to EU authorities, and facilitate communication between the manufacturer and relevant regulatory bodies.
