THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is working exclusively with an Industry leading retail design and manufacturing business. They're looking to hire an Assistant Accountant to join a small accounts team of 3 and workclosely with the Finance Manager.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day transactional accounts andwill also help the finance manager complete the month end close.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Ledger Management - Sales and Purchase Ledger
* Credit Control
* Raising and processing invoices
* Raising Credit Notes
* Assistingin the preparation of management accounts on a timely basis.
* Ensuring all invoices are returned in a timely manner for payment
* Maintaining purchase ledgers including creating new supplier accounts, deleting obsolete records, regular checks on log and ledger balances
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Preparing BACs payments
* The successful Assistant Accountant should be AAT + 3 with at least 2 years industry experience at this level
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
* Sage 50
* AAT Level 3 + with 2 years industry experience
THE ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS £23,000 - £25,000 base + benefits
