THE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is working exclusively with a growing Insurance firm in the Braintree area. They're looking to hire a FinanceManager to join the business and lead a busy Finance team of 5 reporting into the MD. The Finance Manager will be responsible for;
FINANCE MANAGER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Overseeing all accounting personnel
* Internal auditing of broker and insurerreconciliations
* Authorise outgoing insurer payments
* Raise outgoing expenses payments
* Hold weekly team meetings
*Set up monitoring and reporting for each personnel and provide high level reporting to Directors monthly
* Set goals and targets for accounts personnel and a system for review
* Conduct appraisals for accounts personnel
* Make recommendations for improvements and efficiency's of the accounts team
* Oversee the successful development of the replacement accounts database (liaising with developers on specification, design, functionality and testing)
* Conduct a review of all expenditure and negotiatewith suppliers to reduce overheads
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers (insurance brokers) and Insurers
* Work cooperatively with management and peers to identify areas for service improvement and implement plans to improve efficiency through work-flow adjustments and procedural change
* Manage resource effectively to ensure team meets departmental Key Performance Indicators and Service Standards
* Support departmental activities to comply with FCA and other industry regulatory requirements, including Client money
KEY EXPERIENCE:
* Managed a small Finance team at Supervisory or Manager level* AAT Qualified
* CIMA or ACCA Qualified or Part Qualified
* Good IT skills using all Microsoft packages, in particular Word & Excel
THE FINANCE MANAGER SALARY IS PAYING UP TO £40,000 + BENEFITS
