Description:
Ireland's leading asset manager and provider of third-party loan and advisory services is looking for an Operational Risk Analyst to join the Operational Risk Management on a permanent basis toexecute the annual risk-based monitoring and testing plan.
This is a second line of defence role where you will be responsible for conducting monitoring and testing of controls across the business. You will support the implementation and enhancement of an Enterprise Risk Management Framework, and the collation of periodic management information around monitoring, testing, and other relevant operational risk activities.
Key Responsibilities:
o Testing
o Monitoring
o Reporting (external & internal stakeholders)
o Provide support and practical assistance to functional management to understand and manageregulatory operational and enterprise risk
In order to be successful, you will have:
* 3rd level education to Degreein an economic or numerical discipline and/or relevant professional qualifications
* Previous Irish experience in an Operational Risk role or similar
* strong attention to detail
* Strong cross-functional experience either in-house or externally ina financial services environment preferred
* knowledge of regulatory and operational risks influencing the Irish credit sectoralong with strong credit skills.
* Knowledge of business functions and systems relevant to financial services, preferably across consumer and commercial lending (desirable).
* Previous experience liaising with Regulators (desirable)
