Operations Specialist | Wealth Management | Malta | Competitive Salary DOE
Operations Specialist required for a wealth management platform offering depositary, custody, and execution services to a range of clients, including private, institutional, and collective investment schemes.
The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments such as Account Management, Finance, and Trading, performing a range of operational processing duties.

*
Process client cash instructions on a bank level and within the bookkeeping ERP system.*
Manage post-trade processing of clients' FX and securities trades, including allocations, settlement instructions, and trade confirmations.
*
Ensure timely and accurate bookings by coordinating with counterparties.
*
Handle mandatory andvoluntary corporate actions.
*
Cashflow monitoring and oversight daily processing for depository function and other dailyduties within depository function.
*
Serve as the first point of contact for queries or issues related to transactions onclients' accounts.
*
Conduct daily clients' money, assets, and trade reconciliations, and address discrepancies.
*Perform ad-hoc reconciliations of data produced by the Operations department.
*
Maintain operational procedures and updateas necessary.
*
Uphold a strong compliance culture within the firm.
*
Complete any additional tasks related to those mentioned above or as assigned by the company.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
*
Bachelor's degree in finance or economics or equivalent experience.
*
1-2 years of experience in custody operations or similar role ina financial institution.
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
*
Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
*
Team playerwho can work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
*
Detail-oriented and self-organized, able to perform routine daily tasks.
*
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal efficiently with different internaldepartments and external counterparts.
*
High degree of honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
*
Knowledge of financial markets and products is an advantage.
*
Passion for operations, finance, and technology.
*
Clear written andverbal communication skills.
