Description:
My client who is based on the Ballysimon Road in Limerick is looking for an experienced Payroll/Accounts Administrator to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will live locally and have a number of year's experience in a similar role.Duties:
* Sage Accounting/Excel - sales invoicing, issuing monthly statements, debt control, calculating monthly payment claims/chasing for payment certs, retention claims, weekly bank reconciliation, weekly bank balances to director, raise POs
* Sage Payroll/Blip/CSV/Excel - download hours from Blip into CSV/Excel file, calculate hours worked for each employee on each project, calculate weekly expenses, enter onto Sage Payroll, send out payslips & pay employees on line, operate staff banked hours system
* Excel - financial side of project management, set up project aprons & project progress reports, updateaprons & progress reports as & when new quotes raised/client POs received, record invoice payments on project aprons, allocate weekly hours worked & materials ordered into project progress reports, advise management on any overruns on hours worked/materials ordered
* Sage Accounting - enter project hours & materials into Sage project management systems
* Prepareproject profit & loss details for directors as & when requested
* Oversee staff training schedule & organise upcoming bookings
* Keep company vehicle records, save weekly van reports, organise CVRT bookings, servicing, motor tax
* Provide details for Combined Liability Policy & Motor Fleet Policy renewals
* Chair weekly meeting & keep minutes
* Revenue - VAT Returns, P30 payments, RCT/sub contractor liabilities
* Accounting P&L, quarterly cash flows, year-end accounts preparation - liaise with Accountants
Requirements:
* Previous recent experience in a similar role is essential
* Working knowledge and use of SAGE is essential
* Experience from the construction industry desirable
* IPASS qualification
*Have good problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
* Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Organised and focused
* Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a wider team
