THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is partnered with a well-known hospitality brand based in Edinburgh, they're looking to hire a Sales Ledger / Assistant Accountant to join a small Accounts team and report into the Finance Manager.
SALESLEDGER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
* To raise invoices & issue statements in a prompt manner
* To lead bi-weekly credit meetings, proactively managing both debt and commercial relationships
* To update Sage200 with receipts processed, including cash& card receipts from our F&B and Ticket Office teams
* Manage and complete bank reconciliations
* To assist in the preparation of the month end accounts
* To assist in the preparation and generation of management information reports
* To attend any training or development as required, and to assist in the training of colleagues when requested
* Assist in the annual audit of the financial statements as required
* To support and provide cover for colleagues in Finance department when required
* Ad hoc duties as required
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
* Sage 200
* Intermediate Excel (V-look ups & Pivot Tables)* Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable
