Description:
As the Sales development Representative you will play an integral part of helping our client grow their business. You will beresponsible for screening potential customers who can benefit from our clients' products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideally you will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager* Comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
* Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and work with marketing team in finding new potential sales outlets
* Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
* Identify best practices to refine the company's lead generation practices Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
* Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
* Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
* Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and Business Development Managers
* Respond to RFI's / RFP's as appropriate, with the support of product and/or pre-sales teams
* Attend marketing led events and exhibitionsto drive prospect engagement
* Make use of sales enablement tools, such as LinkedIn Navigator, Cognism, Salesloft and Vidyardto drive success
* Accurately complete CRM and sales documentation which supports the sales process
* Report to Sales Director with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
Business Development Manager Requirements
* At least 1 year of relevant work experience
* Experience booking meetings and demos in SMB or Mid-market Companies
* Excellent communication skills via phone and email
* Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
* An excellent ability to grasp new technologies
