Senior Business Development Manager - Cloud
My client is an award-winning technology company who is looking to add an experienced Business Development Director to their established team.
The role of the Business Development Director is predominantly a field based, customer facing sales role, responsible for deep relationship development to deliver margin growth within several strategic accounts. The key to success in this role will be the leverage and maintenance of strong relationships withkey stakeholders up to board level. The role requires the ability to use solution and diagnostic sales techniques to sell a widerange of services to deliver measurable business value.
The role carries an annual sales target broken down quarterly and based on a growth plan. The role also requires high levels of opportunity and pipeline management skills.
Senior Business Development Manager Responsibilities
* You will strategically manage your own sales pipeline to exceed targets, across a group ofenterprise customers and self-identified high potential incubator accounts.
* You will target our database of thousands of existing connectivity customers to upsell cloud and unified communications solutions.
* You will ensure your understanding of customer needs and their future plans for technology, along with the risks, threats and opportunities associated with these, whilst positioning the company as their provider of choice for all relevant buying decisions.
* You will follow internal processesfor forecasting, orders, pre-sales, updates and developing account plans, whilst updating Salesforce and the organization on what will be required to secure, grow, and retain the customer.
* You will champion your customer's perspective and position internally, whilst establishing clear contact plans to ensure there are appropriate relationships with technical, business management, influencers, and decision-makers.
Senior Business Development Manager Requirements
* Proven in similar Business Development Director or Senior Business Development Manager.
* Cloud and telecoms industry specialisms, with the ability to identifymarket trends, threats, and opportunities.
* Dedication to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
* Delivering profitable, long term business opportunities through new business acquisitions.
* Exceptional ability to identify sale opportunities, qualify sales leads and exceed targets.
* Expert levels of researching, networking and relationship building.
* Accurateand effective pipeline management, with highly developed planning and prioritisation skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
* Industry awareness, with the ability to identify market trends, threats, and opportunities.
