TECHNICAL PRE-SALES ENGINEER
FULLY REMOTE / HOME BASED
£35,000 to £45,000 + 10% CAR ALLOWANCE + BENEFITS
THECOMPANY:
We're exclusively recruiting on behalf of an award-winning Internet Service Provider that is seeking an experiencedTechnical Pre-Sales Engineer to join the team.
The Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will be joining an excellent team of professionals and will play a crucial part on the sales process. You'll work with our existing team and customers to understand what products we can provided to meet end user requirements and advise on how we can resolve their business needs.
This is an opportunity to take our own product range alongside 3rd party products to SME's right through to enterprise clients and to help achieve sales targets by closely working with our sales team, resellers and partners.
THE TECHNICAL PRE-SALES ENGINEER:
* As the Technical Pre-Sales Engineer, you'll be acting as the key technical contact during the sales cycle, participating in discovery calls, running customised demonstrations understanding and providing solutions to customers' challenges, while building strongrelationships with prospects
* Identify opportunities and help the sales team convert into potential business, understand, and drive the value proposition
* Assist with tenders. Compile product information from multiple sources, write technical documentation and proposals
* Understand system architecture, security, and technical requirements and be comfortable to lead presentations and discussions on these areas with prospects
* Keep up to date on competitors' products in the market and provide feedback and input to product marketing on roadmap requirements and product direction
* Communicate with clients by email and phone as well as perform client visits for presentations and training workshops
* Manage trials, working closely with the prospect to ensure their business challenges are met and defined and trial objectives met.
* Flexible schedule to accommodate travel.THE PERSON:
* Current experience in B2B Pre-Sales is essential
* Must have experience with unified communications witha good understanding around Connectivity, VoIP Telephony and General IT
* Proactive, self-starter willing to continually learn and adapt to change
* Strong communicator, able to influence audiences both internally and externally
* Strong presentation skills
* Credible in representing the company to customers and other stakeholders
