Concept Resourcing are looking for a Locality Assessment & Review Manager (Band 8C) to join an NHS client based in Birmingham.

This is an initial 6 month contract with a possible extension. The position will be INSIDE IR35 with day rates up to £375.00 per day.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience;

* Previous Central Government or Public Sector experience would be desirable.
* The postholder will ensure that all patients within the caseload have good quality care which meets their ongoing needs through timely reviews.
* To be responsible for ensuring that all CHC processes implemented are compliant with legislative and national guidance and in accordance with the responsibilities of theCCGs.
* To engage with partners as well as patients and relatives to minimise the cause for disputes.
* To manage contentious situations in relation to disputes between partner agencies or with individual patients and relatives.
* To implement a rolling programme of training for all continuing healthcare staff in the CCG as well as partner organisations.
* To prepare legal cases and reports in relation to any challenges to the established decision-making process.
* To lead and implement the SENDagenda for transitioning cases
* To ensure Personal Health Budget are implemented in accordance to CCG's processes and guidelines.
* Attending external meetings with providers of care, liaising with agencies involved in quality assurance of providersof care.
* To work with all relevant stakeholders where there are Provider Concerns, ensuring individual's health and well-being are protected and maintained.
* Ensure there is accurate data management into Patient Systems. Collect data required for management information in a timely manner.
* Effective management of all budgets within the areas of responsibility and provideregular updates in relation to spend against the service and CHC budgets.
* To work with the CCG and Head of Operations in relation to the reviewing quality and contracts with care providers and working with partners to ensure safety and value for money.* To have lead responsibility for establishing and coordinating arrangements across a range of agencies including NHS providers, third sector and independent sector providers
* Knowledge Understanding of the personalisation agenda.
* Knowledge andunderstanding in the implementation of Personal Health Budgets service across the BSOL area.
* Knowledge and understanding inthe planning and delivery of the Liberty Protection and Dols Safeguards across BSOL.
* Knowledge and understanding in the planning and delivery for patients which meet criteria for the SEND agenda and supporting this pathway.
* Knowledge of 'Who Pays'and responsible commissioner.
* Knowledge of Section 75 arrangements process and implementation.
