We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing and creating web and mobile applications that scale to thousands of simultaneous users and has a strong desire to push themselves to continually improve their architecture.
Responsibilities:* Design and develop architectural frameworks for web and mobile apps.
* Ensure high performance, quality, and user satisfaction.
* Provide technical guidance and resolve complex issues.
* Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
* Advise on development, testing, and deployment.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
* Develop functional prototypes for proof of concepts.
* Mentor software developers.
Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar.
* 5+ years of software engineering/architecture experience.
* Demonstrableexperience in enterprise-level applications, Linux servers, and databases.
* Expertise in asynchronous programming, MySQL, REST, JSON, and more.
* Strong knowledge of multi-threaded, transactional, and distributed systems.
* Proficiency in Git, Jenkins, Vagrant, and Ansible.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable:
* Python experience highly desirable.
* Postgraduate degree in relevant field.
* Agile software development and enterprise environment knowledge.
* Familiarity with Twisted and logging/monitoring tools.
* Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services.
