Contract Manager - Wolverhampton - £48,000-£52,000 per annum

Our client who are a leading provider of Radiotherapy and Radiology Managed Equipment Services (MES) across the UK, with a strong FM service provided in Wolverhampton havean opportunity for a Contract Manager to join their company.

The Company is experiencing rapid, positive change in its business environment and desires to grow and expand further beyond its current position in the UK, including the expansion of currentprojects and services as well as the development of new projects and the creation of new service lines. Current project sites are located in Belfast, Leeds, Norwich, Oxford and Wolverhampton with Head Office located in London.

Main purpose of the role;To work closely with the Head of Facilities and Service Delivery to manage, oversee and supervise the contractual elements ofthe PFI. These include contractual change/Variations, monitoring and ensuring contractual compliance, month end performance reporting and liaising with Project Co e.g., monthly project compliance reports. The Contract Manager will deputise for the Head ofFacilities and Service Delivery during absence. The execution of all tasks is to be of a high standard; performed safely and professionally.

Responsibilties;

* Manage any contractual issues on a day-to-day basis. Understanding the commercial impact of those issues and minimise exposure to financial harm as a result of non-compliance.
* Deputise for the Head of Facilitiesand Service Delivery and support the FM lead at those times.
* Ensure contractual compliance for both the EMS and FMS contracts at Wolverhampton.
* Liaise with Project Co's representative and support their reasonable requests for information and audits.
* Liaise with RWT's representative and support their reasonable requests for information.
* Monitor monthly performance and escalate as appropriate to mitigate exposure to the performance regime application.
* Provide a response to contractual change requests and liaise with all parties to capture the requirements of that change.
* Liaise with FM lead to capture all costs/effort associated to the change.
* Update and ensure that all contractual documentation is up to date and current.
* Produce month end performance report for onward distribution to Project Co
* Assist and support Head of Facilities and Service Delivery as required.
* Liaise with the projects imaging technology partner; sharing performance, managing their SLA and enforcingany remedial actions associated with sub optimal performance.
* Understand key stakeholders' requirements, provide trusted and commercially appropriate responses to all queries in a timely manner.
* To assess commercial priorities and values, to influence and negotiate for the best overall outcome taking regard of the best clinical and patient outcome and the value of long-term relationships with our stakeholders, as well as the need to deliver projects at or better than the financial plan.
* Provideinputs, as required, to the financial team to assist with budgeting and invoicing functions associated to contractual change ormonthly performance.

Skills and Experience Required;

* Proven contract management experience
* Must have a can-do approach and be able to work closely with others
* Able to effectively manage change
* Formal contract management or engineering/science qualification.
* Knowledge of building and construction
* Previous experience working in a PFI/Healthcare environment.
* Good Communication to all levels of staff (e.g., management, subcontractors, client staff, patients, etc.).
* Abilityto delegate effectively yet allow others to influence decisions. Open to alternate ways of completing a task.
* Flexible approach to working time/hours. Acceptance that certain activities need to be attended to out of hours (i.e., evenings or weekends).* Consider consequences of actions - understand service level agreement - minimise downtime.
* Adhere to strategic directionas provided by Head of Facilities & Service Delivery.
* Plays a key role in maintaining the PFI relationship and performance.
