Description:
Logistics coordinator.
Concept Resourcing currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics coordinator to join a market leading company with the responsibility of managing end to end logistics and packing for the UK.
Location: Central LondonSalary bracket: Between £105 - £116 per day dependent upon experience.
Contract status: This is an inside IR35 contract role therefore, to be paid via an umbrella company.
Contract: 1 year (extension possible).
Your responsibilities:
* Coordination with logistic partner in case of any challenges in all shipping transactions, be that of one-way shipments, send and return shipments (two way), or collections.
* Coordination with customers in case of any challenge in all shipping transactions.
* Managing the stock and ordering with Packaging vendor for procurement of appropriately sized cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and tape.
* Overseeing the management and tracking of all shipping transactions.
* Raise one-way shipments, send and return shipments (two way), or collections via the partner portal or via telephoning logistic partners service desk.
* Weekly & Monthlydata extracts shared with the HCL reporting team (CPO) & billing review team.
* Comfortable in safely packing EUC devices-laptops/desktops shipments.
* Contributing to the Service Review with the vendors ensuring they are performing as expected.Your experience:
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Strong time management skills.* Comfortable communicating with both colleagues and customers of all levels.
* Previous experience working in logistics, oran administrative role is desirable.
* Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
* Understanding of transportation limitations, regulations and issues that occur on a daily basis.
* High level understanding of logistics billing and ability to investigate end to end and discrepancies raised from billing reviews.
