THE OPPORTUNITY:
GetRecruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of one of our clients within the educational sector that are looking to expand their IT Operations Team. As a result, they are looking to add an Applications Developer to the existing team.
As an Applications Developer you will work to improve the existing applications infrastructure by developing application solutions utilising C#,ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC.
This is an exciting opportunity for a developer with a couple of years experience looking to take the next step in their career and expand their technical skillset in an environment that will provide you with the training to doso.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and implement new functionality for existing application infrastructures
* Provide support to the other applications developers within the team
* Support and develop new application solutions
* Liaisewith software providers to develop web access to existing systems
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate for the Applications Developer role will have the following skills and experience:
* A couple of years experience in a project/development role
* Experience with application life cycle management
* Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC
* Knowledge of application development tools
* Database development experience using MS SQL Server (desirable)
