THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting for an IT Engineer for one of our clients that provides Computer support and services to their clients. The position is ideally suited to candidates who would enjoy a varied IT Engineer role which will expose them to a wide range of different technologies with plenty of opportunity to learn new areas.
Within this position you will be working closely as part of a widerteam supporting clients both remotely and face to face playing an integral part in the organisation providing technical supportfor hardware and software systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot, problem solve and fix and resolve IT issues efficiently and effectively
* Ensure IT Support processes are followed and documented
* Resolving problems with networks, peripherals and other computer systems
* Diagnosing system errors and other issues
* Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
* Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
* Providingtechnical support for clients (this may be in person or over the phone)
* System checks including backup and Anti-virus monitoring and reporting
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
* 3+ years in an IT Engineer role
* Active Directory
* Office 365
* Azure* Microsoft Teams
* Windows Sever 2012 - 2019
* Windows Operating Systems
* VMware
* WatchGuard
