MCG Constructionhas a new opportunity for a qualified Senior Technical Manager for a major contract all over the UK.
The role :
* Development and checking of highways packages and public realm space design packages
* To oversee the development of technical design packages in a cost-effective, timely and collaborative manner.
* To lead on quality outputs, applying design managementsystems, ensuring adherence to processes and continuous improvementDemonstrate and uphold Health, Safety and Environment responsibilities, including CDM
* Core technical acumen and demonstrable experience in the development and checking of Highway and Public Realm space design packages. Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience.
* Client liaison and management ability to upholdrelationships and conduct effective liaison including subcontractors, statutory undertakers, stakeholders etc as required for project delivery
* Application of design management systems and processes ensuring continuous improvement including understanding and application of BIM
* Commercial understanding including application of the NEC contract suite to ensure projects are delivered to time and budget
* Experience and understanding of construction methodologies and processes enabling a construction led design process
* Proficient in the use of both AutoCAD and Civils 3D packages
* Provide day to day supervision of juniorstaff supporting and developing the design team
* Relevant degree in engineering field
* Professionally qualified or workingtowards chartership of a professional body

* Exceeding KPI targets both internally and as demanded by Contract Scope.
