THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're exclusively supporting a market leading Broker located in Hove who is looking to expand their Commercial Account Handling Team as part of their strategic expansion plans over the coming months.
As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be managing a portfolio of existing clients, dealing with insurance issues relating to changes in their requirements and renewals. develop new business to grow the account and cross sell leads into business solutions.

THE PACKAGE:
£22,500 to £29,000 Basic + Lucrative Bonus/Commission Scheme
Ongoing Training and a Clear Development Path
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
* Working towards or prepared to study for CII exams.
* 2 years Personal Lines experience
* Technical knowledge of commercial insurance preferable
* Knowledge of General Insurance products which are applicable to the sector
* Provenexperience in managing relationships with customers, insurers and key stakeholders.
* Active and working knowledge of FCA compliance.
SKILLS:
* Articulate and presentable with the ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
* Good level of numeracy.
* Able to work co-operatively with other team members.
* Adaptability and management of the continual changes within the insurance landscape
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Capable of working on own initiative and managing own workload effectively
* Competent with Microsoft office suite, word, excel, outlook and databases.
